Dead Bones SocietyOn the 14th July 2006, there was no more water in Australia. This was worldwide on the news. The last two living dinosaurs were drinking all the water. Their names were Joe Snow-Dino and Fred the Bad Dino.

These dinosaurs had committed several crimes. They broke everything they saw, and drank all the water they could get. Detective Morgan rang an animal plane service to pick the dinosaurs up and take them to Antarctica, to get rid of them. The police tranquilised the two with a tranquiliser gun and loaded them onto the plane to Antarctica.

Twelve hours later they were in Antarctica, feeling very groggy. When they woke up they build a humungous igloo that was twenty metres tall.

Pretty soon it was getting boring and Fred suggested playing I Spy. Joe didn’t care what they did, he was that bored.

“I spy with my little eye something beginning with “I”, said Fred.

“I’m not quite sure,” said Joe sarcastically. “Is it ice?”

“Yes! – how did you know.”

“It’s the only thing here – how do you reckon?”

Fred and Joe got so bored they decided they had to escape. They tried making a boat out of ice, but it broke as soon as they got into it.

Then they tried to make another transport vehicle – a plane. That failed too, because the ice was too heavy to fly and the engine was made of snow and it melted.

It was then they found the abandoned ship. It had been buried in the ice centuries ago. It had holes in the bottom, but Joe used some of his lizard skin to patch the holes up and pretty soon they set sail.

The dinos returned to Australia, and got back to doing what they did best. Which meant that although it was a happy ending for them it wasn’t a happy ending for everyone else.
